Hey guys!
I don't normally do many beauty related posts but I have to share my new skincare routine with you all as I could not be any happier right now with my skin!
All products are botanically based, paraben free, vegan and not tested on animals!
I have really oily / spot prone skin and I used to have really bad acne so if you're the same I really hope this post will help!
Where it all began...
So, 4 months ago my friend came to me and said that she has been using some amazing products and that I had to try them. Having acne in the past I've always been careful of what I've used and have never really changed what I've used because I was afraid of my skin getting worse again, but when she said al the products were botanically based, vegan, paraben free I thought I might as well give them a go because I like to use products that are as natural as possible anyway.
The products are from a company called Arbonne and they're a swiss company. The quality of all of their products rival swiss heritage range products (such as Creme de la Mer etc) but cost less that French Salon brands (Chanel, Estee Lauder etc)
I used some of the products for a week and I was amazed at how well they worked and how great my skin looked after just a few days!
I thought the products were a little pricey at first, being used to buying cheap high street brands, but the quality and how well they worked blew me away, so now, pretty much every product I use is Arbonne!
Arbonne do loads of different ranges for all types of skin but the ones I use are for oily / combination and spot prone skin so here's what products I use and what I think of them!
My skincare routine
Morning routine
1.
Hydrating Cleanser + Freshener
This is what I use in the morning, it's from the FC5 range which is there everyday skincare range and this is specially for oily / combination skin like mine! (They also do a FC5 range for normal / dry skin too) It contains 5 different fruit and smells amazing! It's really fresh smelling so it wakes you up an leaves your skin glowing. It's a cleanser and toner in one which I love as it saves me time in the morning!
2.
Oil-Absobing Day Lotion with SPF 20
This moisturiser is amazing if you have oily skin!
It again smells really fresh, it helps to absorb the oil on your skin, leaving your skin soft, moisturised, felling fresh but with an oil free, matte appearance.
When I first used it my skin looked so good I even considered not putting make up on - which for me is a massive deal as I used to have really bad acne and I'm really insecure about me skin!
3.
Advanced Lifting and Contouring Eye Cream
This is from there RE9 anti aging range, which just happens to be the best independently tested anti ageing range to exist!! It can be used from ages 24 onwards, but I feel I have wrinkly eyes and this really helps to smooth out your laugher lines, reduce bags and dark circles and gereally make you look more awake :)
4.
This is more cosmetic than skincare but it's still part of my routine. I've tried loads of primers in the past but have never really liked them. This one goes on like pure silk, it minimises all of your pores and creates the perfect canvas for your makeup and helps to keep it flawless all day! Apparently Simon Cowell uses this Primer, enough said! Haha!
5.
Again, not really a skincare product but if you have oily skin you will love this!
It's a lightweight, translucent powder that's a very light green colour, so it conceals all red, blotchy patches at the same time as combatting oil! It comes in a little compact with a mirror and puff so it' great for keeping in your handbag!
Night time routine
1.
Easy on the Eyes Makeup Remover
The first thing I use at night is this eye makeup remover. I used one cotton pad for one eye at a time and then quickly go over my face to remove some excess make up before I wash my face. I have really sensitive eyes and this doesn't irritate them at all yet at the same time manages to get off every last piece of my waterproof mascara and eyeliner!
2.
This is from the Clear Control range which is for acne / spot prone skin. It contains salicylic acid which deep cleanses and reduces spots! Since using it, i've noticed that my blackheads are going and pores are minimising which I'm loving!
You only have to use a tiny amount too, I've had mine for about 4 months now, using it every night, and I still have around 1/3 of the bottle left!!
3.
Again from the Clear Control range, it removes excess oil and leaves your skin feeling deeply cleaned and has a really fresh, minty smell!
My last product isn't an Arbonne product, it's Aloe Vera gel with Tea Tree and Arnica and you can get this from Holland and Barratt. I've been using aloe vera gel or years and I swear by it, this will always be a part of my skincare routine!
Where to buy Arbonne products from...
You can only get Arbonne products online.
You have to go through an independent consultant (which is what I am now, mainly because you get a 35% discount haha) but all you have to do is go to their site HERE and create an account.
You can register as a normal client, it's free to do and you shop online as normal.
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!
If you buy any of the products, I'd love to know what you think of them and that you love them as much as I do!
DISLAIMER
This is not a sponsored post, all products are ones tt I've bought, love and would 100% recommend. All opinions are my own!
